Australian Merino wool is a natural fiber grown year-round by Merino sheep, consuming a simple blend of natural ingredients including sunshine, water, fresh air and grass. Every year these sheep produce new fleece, making wool a completely renewable fiber.

Australian Merino wool is the finest and softest sheep’s wool in the world. Makes up just 1% of the world’s fiber for apparel – true luxury. Its fibers are super fine and flexible. The softness of the wool depends on the thickness of fibers which are measured by the diameter of the fiber used. Fiber diameter is measured in microns.
WHAT IS A MICRON?
A micron (μm) is one millionths of a meter. The finer the micron, the softer the fiber. The feeling of prickle and itch comes from fibers with coarse microns of any type of fiber. Australian Merino wool has a much finer micron than all other wools.
